Default No MPEG2 video in WMM

When I import an MPEG2 video file into Windows Movie
Maker, the video is blank, though the audio is there. I
can see the video just fine in Windows Media Player and
any number of other players, but not in WMM. I'm running
a Pentium 4 @ 3.2Ghz (HyperThread), with 2GB RAM and
200GB hard drive.

Playback/importing of MPEG2 content is completely dependent on the third
party MPEG2 decoder installed on your computer. Most do not work well. See
the Importing Source Files > Video > MPEG2 page of www.papajohn.org
