Default wmm2 problem

I have been using Movie Maker 2 foe awhile now. I cant
add transistions or effects. When I even try to view a
transition it shutsdown the program. I have read
www.papajohn.org and still cant resolve this problem. I
have reinstalled it over the current copy and it still
wont work. Any suggestions would be appriciated.
Thanks FireDude!

check his codecs section one more time - it's nearly always that when it's
due to transitions or effects

Hello there,

In order that you can determine with ease whether or not your problem is
to do with "Codecs" I have created a small program that will enable you to
rename codecs with just a couple of button clicks.

You will find the link from the Video page on my website at
www.the-kellys.org. Please read the warnings before you use it. I have
tried the program upon my own system and it worked perfectly....it makes
just one assumption. Your codecs are stored on Drive C. This will be the
case unless you took special actions to cause Windows System files to be
stored elsewhere.

If you do decide to try it out. Please let me know what you think. If
you know that your system has a certain codec that does not appear in the
list, please let me know the name of it and I will issue a new program.

Best Wishes.....John Kelly
