This is not really a valid question for this forum, but I
figured I'd take a shot that someone here might have run into this issue. I just created a ("+RW") DVD with ArcSoft's ShowBiz. It plays fine on PCs, but my JVC DVD player rejects it. When I checked the manual for the DVD player, it specifically identified formats that it does not support (e.g., "-RW", etc), but then adds that supported formats MUST contain a "1" in their "Region Code" -- the doc for the (HP +RW) disc mentioned zip re: such a code. Anyone here know what a "Region Code" is ??? Harry |

Did a quick web search:
http://zonefreedvd.com/codefreedvd/regionaldvdmap.html Apparently nothing to do with my problem.
