Everything appears to working fine on the MM2 program. I
am able to download video and edit properly, however, I cannot get titles and credits to appear on screen. I can go through all of the steps and enter in a title name and video effect, but a blank screen is all that will appear. There is no error message appearing and everything else is working fine. how do I remedy this problem? |

Is anything appearing on the Title Overlay track or on the storyboard or
Video track. Also do you see a preview on the right when you are actually editing your Title? Everything is perfect. And when I try and view the video
with the text, all I see is a Gray Blank Screen. I really need the answer, because I'm trying to make videos for a bunch of my friends. And I'm trying to get some Pro Videos going. So can someone help me? Pedro |

Would you like to run through the steps you take trying to get your title on
the screen. Graham <anonymous@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:7e7e01c43185$d44e2900$a301280a@phx.gbl... > Everything is perfect. Hi there Graham,
I sometimes get this issue and its always my fault...I tend to forget to close the procedure that creates the text but try to play the video anyway. -- Best Wishes.....John Kelly www.the-kellys.org www.the-kellys.co.uk All material gained from other sources is duly acknowledged. Hello,
I believe they're suffering from the same problem I am (cfr. post: "Windows Movie Maker 2.1 incompatibility issue with ATI Radeon ?"). An easy way to check is by trying the transitions: - Shatter, In - Shatter, Up Left If they don't work, you know what you're up to: either wait for a fix or change your display adapter... . Hello there,
I guess the people in the original message have sorted out their problem by now as the messages you replied to are several months old. With regard to your problem, if you believe it is directly linked to your Radeon card then you should consider getting the latest drivers and firmware updates from the manufacturer of the card. Take note that you should NOT get the driver from Microsoft....Microsoft make drivers that are generic and if you are using a high end card the only place you will get a valid driver is the company who programmed the chipset on your card, there is a high probability that it has some specific commands that are in some small way not standard. One of my cards (From Gainward) is a case in point....it uses NVidia but cannot use the drivers from Microsoft OR NVIDIA !!! it only works with the drivers from Gainward -- Best Wishes.....John Kelly www.the-kellys.org www.the-kellys.co.uk \|||/ (o o) ----------ooO-(_)-Ooo------------- ¸,ø¤º°`°º¤ø,¸¸,ø¤º°`°º¤ø,¸¸,ø¤º°`°º¤ø,¸¸,ø¤º°`°º¤ø,¸¸,ø¤º°`°º All material gained from other sources is duly acknowledged. Good point. XPSP2 could be the cure.
![]() What I need to do is duplicate the problem, and then prove that XPSP2 really is the solution. And right now, I'm hamstrung by not knowing what the average user is doing to get into this situation. The adware/spyware lead is tasty -- we've seen issues before where the user went to a website, installed some software to play an online game, and incidentally installed a DShow filter with merit value so high that it got added it to just about every graph created, causing problems in MM. Here's what I'll do moving forward: 1. I'll add "Try Installing XPSP2" up to the top of my suggesstion list, and see how often that alone solves the problem. 2. I'll ensure that the machine I'm using to try to repro the problem is running XPSP1 or earlier. If anyone has any ideas on how I can get a repro of the problem, please post! Thanks!
