Now I think I know what the problem is. I installed MM2 after I got done with that part of the project, and the opening is in WMM format. Does anyone know how to translate the file so that it will read under MM2?

MM2 can read projects made in version 1.... do you know what clip it's
stopping at? It might be a codec issue related to it. Its not clips that are in the movie... I'm making a documentary, using pictures, music and narroration. I've spent about half a day total working on this and I SIMPLY CAN'T LOSE IT!! I burnt a copy of MM1 from my brothers computer, now when I try to open it in MM1 it says that it can't open it because its not an MWMM file or its corrupt! Please help me! I think if this continues I'm going to go insane from stress.

Once you open and use an MM1 project file in MM2, you can't go back to MM1
with it.... send me a copy of the MSWMM file by email and maybe I can help you figure out what to do. Got the copy of the project file.
It opens and plays fine in MM2.... the many special effects like the aged video ones, don't exist in MM1, so you did a good bit of work with it in MM2. Looks like you should keep going forward and get MM2 working. MM1 doesn't support the special effects, so you'd pretty much be starting over there. It's not corrupt, as MM1 reports. Just needs MM2 to work. Seeing as your grade depends on this project, if you can't get MM2 running,
zip up a package of the source files and I'll render and send you the finished movie... 2-1/2 minutes, still pix and a couple audio files shouldn't be too big a package. Actually, I got so frustrated with the @!*%ed up thing, that I just redid the thing. It wasn't that difficult, I still had the narroration file, and it was just a matter of adding effects, and synchronizing the pictures with the audio. But thanx for the offer.
