Problems with WMP2

Hello,
I need help because I have just downloaded WMP2,and I am
now facing some problems.
I can open a movie without difficulties, but when I try
to insert a transition between two parts of my moovie
project, the software just closes without any error
message, and all my work is lost.
It is not easy to create a movie !
Thank you for your help.

Of course, I wanted to say WMM2 and not WMP2 !
