We have a movie made on MovieMaker 1 but can't burn it to DVD. I downloaded MoveMaker 2 but I can't find it on my computer. Did it just merge with MovieMaker 1? I am currently downloading a trial version of Sonic Mydvd 5. Can someone tell me if what I have done will work?

Hi Michele,
Movie Maker 2 will have upgraded over the top of Movie Maker 1. When you launch Movie Maker from the Start menu it should be version 2 that runs. You can verify this by selecting Help->About... from with the application and looking at the fourth line of text in the About Windows Movie Maker dialog box. It should read Windows (R) Movie Maker Version 2.0.3312.0. If the first digit is not 2 then let me know. You should now be able to create the DVDs you want by using the files produced by Movie Maker 2 with Sonic MyDVD 5 . Thank you, Chris. -- Please reply in newsgroup.
