Default Deleting a collection

Hi, I am trying to delete some collections but I can't... the instructions say to select the collection in the drop down list and then click on EDIT-DELETE... but when I select the collection and go to the EDIT drop down box, DELETE is grayed out

Any ideas?

Try just pressing the Delete key after selecting the collection you want to
delete

I got it... I was trying to select the collection in the drop down list on the menu bar and then deleting it... but when you do that, the DELETE is grayed out and pressing the DEL button doesn't do anything... but if you display the collections pane and select a collection that way, you can then delete it..

You are not alone! It took me a while to work out that you need to
change the pane (what a pain). Certainly not an intuitive feature.
I've been in the computer industry for 30 years so I like to think I
know what I'm doing......
