Default Settings list?

Is there a listing somewhere that examines the many selections
in the "other settings" dropdown menu boxes for capturing video
and for saving movies?

Jay,

I've got a set of sample files that were made from the various settings....
see the Saving Movies > Sample Video Clips page of www.papajohn.org

Wow! That's perfect. I've looked around on your site a lot, but I
missed those. Thank you, and thanks for all the help you have been
to me getting started in video.

While you're looking at those, I'll go add another page for later.

Sounds good. While you are at it, how about adding the video size and
audio parameters to the ones headed "These were made in May 2003 with
the final release of Movie Maker 2"? I would like to have a
reference table with a row for each selection, showing the parameters
that can be displayed in Media Player - file properties.

John,

I spent some time reviewing the sample video clips in your web page
that are native to MM2, at:
http://www.eicsoftware.com/pictures...M2-Samples.html .

Very useful. I compiled my notes for reference. The notes include the
"Properties" info displayed by Windows Explorer and by Media
Player 9. I'm sending a copy of my notes direct to your CharterMI.net
address; you may find them interesting.

In case you weren't aware, you have two duplicate links on the sample
page. High Quality Video (large) and (small) are duplicated.

I ordered your book, "Microsoft Windows Movie Maker 2: Do Amazing
Things" Friday from Amazon. I'm looking forward to reading it.

Jay
