Default Audio problems

Hi!
It seems that I can't handle this by my self. I am trying to capture a movie from my VCR to my computer. I have no problems with the video, but I can't find the problem with the audio. I am using composite, and I plugged in all three jacks right. The two left, right for the audio and the third one for the video. Please help me if you can
Thank you in advance
Justin

Ensure that "line in" is not set to Mute.
