Hi,
In my previous post I mentioned that I have 2 computers and one capture card (ATI 9000 pro) which gives me problems. I suspect the driver, even if I have donwloaded the latest one. I am considering buying a second capture device for my other computer. Pinnacle MovieBox for USB got my attention. On the web opinions differs as for the use of USB for capturing video sequences. Some says its OK some says its NOT. I don't know what to believe. Can some of you give me more comments on capturing video with USB. I have USB 2.0 on my computer. Is USB capture any good? André |

It's not the best of course, but it works fine in many cases.... here's a
sample I just did using the Dazzle 80, the low end of the Pinnacle/Dazzle USB capture devices http://www.eicsoftware.com/pictures...attle-Jan04.wmv PapaJohn "PapaJohn (MVP)" <PapaJohn@CharterMI.net> wrote in message news:1027fuocu3tfbb8@corp.supernews.com... > Yes > > PapaJohn > > "André Joubert" <jaji92@sympatico.ca> wrote in message > news:et8ZJOC7DHA.1816@TK2MSFTNGP12.phx.gbl... > > Hi, > > In my previous post I mentioned that I have 2 computers and one > capture > > card (ATI 9000 pro) which gives me problems. Thanks for the sample. The quality is adequate for my purpose. (I just want
to copy VHS to DVD) I am considering DAZZLE DC150 or Pinnacle MovieBox which both have better specifications than DC80 So I think I would not be disapointed. I am waiting for my DVD burner to arrive (its back order now) before buying the capture card. I am incline toward MovieBox because of the software packaged with it. On the other end my burner is also supposed to be package with very good software. In the mean time I will continue familiarize myself with MovieMaker I really like it (simple and enough functionality) I am also investigating the database which contains the collection information. I would like to write a program that could update it (like merging 2 collections) André "PapaJohn (MVP)" <PapaJohn@CharterMI.net> wrote in message news:1027j83pmi46dfc@corp.supernews.com... > It's not the best of course, but it works fine in many cases.... here's a > sample I just did using the Dazzle 80, the low end of the Pinnacle/Dazzle > USB capture devices > > http://www.eicsoftware.com/pictures...attle-Jan04.wmv > > PapaJohn > |
