Default info about dropped frames during DV capture with MM2 ?

Hi,

In the past I used to transfer DV from my video camera via Firewire to my
computer using either "dvapp.exe" or "dvio.exe". Because of problems with
dropping frames during the transfer I decided to try Movie Maker 2.
Everything seems to work fine and I haven't got any "frames dropped"
messages.

But I am wondering, will MM2 ever report whether any frames were "dropped"
during DV capture?

No, it doesn't have the feature of reporting or logging dropped frames. You
would have to notice such problems during playback.
