Default media center and MM2

Group-
I installed WMM2 on my Dell Media Center Edition XP and
cannot capture vieo via my ATI all-in-wonder 9000 lo pro
video card from analog sources. If I use ATI Rage Theater
Audio to capture the sound and then proceed, I get an
error message saying that the "device" is not responding.
If I use the sound card (SoundMAX) instead, I get no sound
and the aspect ratio is messed up. I downloaded the Blaze
shareware program to test it and everything worked fine.
Microsoft posted the following
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-
us;827542&Product=winxp but that did not help because it
occurred even if capturing video was the first thing I
did. The various folks at Dell had no answers for me
despite 10+ hours on the phone with at least 6 different
people. Please help!!!!

Default RE: media center and MM2

I have the same problem but what I did (and it's not a real solution) is capture the video from the TV tuner into a program that came with my computer called WinDVD Creator. After it's finished capturing the video I can find the recorded video in the MY VIDEOS folder and then when I open WMM2 I click Import into Collections and then choose the video I want. Then just wait as the file is imported and your finished as far as getting your video is concerned. But really if you have WinDVD Creator I don't really see the need for WMM2.
