Thank you for your response.
For example, I am interviewing a person talking about proper golf swing form. During the interview, I want to show a still picture of the proper golf form and then come back to the interview. Although we change from the interview to the picture and then back to the interview, I want to continue the audio from the video throughout the video even when we transition to the picture and then back to the video. Am I explaining that correctly??? Thanks again for your help. First Copy/Paste the video clip from the video track into
the audio/music track and position it to start at the exact same time as the beginning of the video clip. Then mute the audio in the original video clip. The golf experts voice from the audio track should remain in sync with the video. Then split the video clip in the video track and insert the photo. Drag the right side of the photo clip to select the length of time you want the photo to display. Select the second piece of the split video clip. Drag the left side of that clip to the right to shorten it by the exact amount of time that the photo clip displays. (That removes the amount of video that will be "overlayed" by the photo.) The start and end positions of the combined video should exactly match the start and end positions of the clip in the audio track. The expert will continue speaking while the photo is displayed and when the video resumes after the photo, the expert's voice and lips should remain in sync. That assumes you do a straight cut from video to photo and back to video. If you do transitions such as fades you will have to monkey with start and end points of the clips to keep the audio and video in sync. >-----Original Message----- >Thank you for your response. > >For example, I am interviewing a person talking about >proper golf swing form.
