Default Cannot save my movie to computer or DV

I'm a beginner at this. My problem is when I try to save a movie to my computer (in order to play back on Windows Media Player) or my DV camera the movie is never saved successfully. The box says that my project contains source files that are missing or have been modified after import, and cannot be saved as a movie. I have to locate or delete the source files from my project. What does that mean? The movie I made on Windows Movie Maker contains a music clip, still pictures saved on my computer, and lots of added transitions and titles. All I want is to save this short movie (1.5 minutes) to my camera so I can transfer it to a VHS for my family. Can anyone help me out? Thanks!
