moviemaker or any other software will not make clips from
captured video, I have one long clip instead of many individual clips. I have tried making clips from the tools pull down menu and it wont create clips. I am using a sony hi-8 digital camcorder. I have used it before on on apple computer and it works fine. Can it be my computer? Setting? |

Freak,
You missed a step. After Capture you must import the file into collections. FILE/IMPORT INTO COLLECTIONS Opens the IMPORT FILE window. At the very bottom, middle is a box, CREATE CLIPS FOR VIDEO FILE, Left Click in the box. Name the file and location and Left Click IMPORT in the button. You can then go to MM2 project file select and import that collection and the clips will appear for dropping into your Timeline. Cheers. Anthony. |

It will depend on what capture device you are using. See the Automatic Clip
