Default TMPGE / Nero 6

Hi

(PapaJohn) thanks for the earlier help.
<<hoping this is my last problem>>
Anyway I have used TMPGE to convert my avi to what I thought would have been
mpeg2 but it creates two files .m2v & .wav Playing them straight I see that
one is the video and one the audio.

I hgave tried all the option that I can see in Nero to get these to burn to
my dvd in a dvd format but keep failing.

When using nerovision express that works fine as it does the convert from
avi for me.

Can anybody explain what I need to choose in Nero to get the converted files
on?

Thanks
Simon

In TMPGEnc, choose the lower right option, the one that makes a single MPG
file with both the video and audio. It's labeled 'System (Video+Audio)

Thanks fo the above. I have followed the setting and know have one mpeg
file.

Do you know which options to choose in Nero? I have Nero Express where I
can not seem to do anything and also nerovision express which will build a
dvd from the file but I am worried that this may try and do further convert
on it and ruin the quality.

Regards
Simon

Someone else will have to help with that part. I haven't used Nero in a long
time.
