Ok for todays problem or rather query.
I have a 14 minute avi file at 3Gb. My query is on the quality of conversion. I am using TMPGEnc to carry out the conversion to MPEG2 before finally buring it to DV using Nero6. If I just do a straight (accept all defaults) conversion it estimates at about 15 minutes. If I choose noise reduction it takes about 1 hour. If I choose noise reduction and click on high quality it estimates at 4 hours. Does anybody know if this really creaters a greater quality movie? I guess the file size also grows? Once again thanks in advance Simon |

See the DVD Software... General page of www.papajohn.org
About 1/3 of the way down is a link to a tutorial about the settings in TMPGEnc.
