Can someone explain in simple terms the following...
I have a 3.76GB .AVI file I am trying to transfer back to my Canon ZD-40 digital video camera. I created the file using Windows Movie Maker on the Windows XP Home Edition. When I replay the movie on the camera, the audio drops out every five seconds or so throughout the whole tape. I have transitions, audio, and music on the tape. The music came in the form of me recording the music via the camera, as opposed to importing from a CD (which I'm probably too stupid to figure out how to do). Anyways, can anyone walk me through the process of how I can get the file from the computer to the camera without me jumping off a building first?!!! Help!!!!!!!!! |

Try copying it by using the WindDV utility - there's a link on the
Camcorders... General page of my website. PapaJohn www.papajohn.org And defrag your hard drive before doing the transfer. Try with as little running in the background as possible. Antivirus running
in real time is a major culprit of this. Disable (or snooze if possible) the antivirus during the time you are exporting... but do NOT forget to turn it back on afterwards.
