Default Saving Video takes Months

Hi there,

I'm running MM2 on a Athlon 750 with 750MB. All works fine
(except the usual hangs from time to time) but when I
try to export the video ang MM2 tries to estimate the
remaining minutes it never stops. I always canceled after
some hours, when the counter reached several million
minutes. The odd thing is, that the processor load never
exceeds 1% and the memory usage always stays below my RAM,
let alone the system memory including the swap-memory.

What can I do?

Thanks in advance for your help,
Zacherl

sorry. Of course 750MB if clearly wrong. What I meant were
640MB RAM.

Thanks a lot.

Seems that only splitting up the project will help.

Bad luck for me that I ordered a new computer yesterday
because I thought I'd have not enough resources. On the
other hand, this may have been the excuse I've been looking
for all the time to justify the purchase of a new machine :-)

you thought you had low resources, so your solution was simply to order a
band new, complete computer system???

holy smoke, I'd love to have your expendable income.
