audio device in use

I can do everything except capture audio from my panisonic
analog camcorder. I keep getting an error saying audio
device in use by another program...which it is not. im
using dazzle 80. this program works with mgi video studio
but on mm2 i get this message and cant find where to set
usb preferences as someone else suggested. if that is the
problem.
