Default Drivers backed in-car safety device

… “Seven out 10 UK drivers would support a computerised speed-warning device on their dashboard”.

This is nothing new; I’ve been driving for 50years and have always had a speed-warning device on my dashboard … it is called a speedometer. It is linked via a bio-directional device … the Mark 1 Eyeball … to another device strapped to the car seat, known as “the driver”.

However, experienced drivers rely on a clever bit of “Software” known as “the-seat-of-the-pants”, which keeps them aware of the car’s speed at all times. As with all such equipment, keep drinks well away from them, especially alcohol, as this could result in a system crash.

We wouldn’t need any compulsory speed limiters in our cars if we all tried another device. It is called … consideration for other road users … and it’s Free.
