Default Cannot retrieve file

We have a group of primary students learn how to make
their own movie for their school work. They are working in
a LAN network environment in school. They will use same
login name to logon the system.

After finishing their project, students will save their
work under different name in server and logout the system.
When they login the system again and try to open the
previous file saved, they cannot open it and a few error
messages shown:

MSWMM is not a valid windows movie maker file.
The project file is used by another program.

I will appreciate if anyone could advise me how to solve
this problem. Thank you very much.

MM2 is not a multi-user application. It's probably best if the projects,
including source files, are maintained on the local drives. It's also best
to keep the source and project files in folders that are not the standard
MyVideo folders, to preclude any sharing issues.

Not knowing the particular setup, it's hard to advise any more detailed than
that.
