Movie Maker 2

I have been attempting to capture from an analogue
camcorder using Pinnacle MovieBox USB hardware with
Pinnacle Studio Version 8 software. I get the
message"The video device is currently in use. Close any
application that is using the device and try again". Is
this message due to the fact that I have the Pinnacle 8
software already in my PC ? Is there any way that I can
use my MovieBox hardware with MM2 without having to
uninstall the Version 8 software ? Can anyone help me
with this problem, and stop me tearing my hair out.
