down load movie maker 2 do you delete movie maker that came with xp home?

Hi, if I want to download movie maker 2 should I
uninstall movie maker that came with xp home edition when
I loaded it to my new computer? If yes, how does it
uninstall? If no, does movie make 2 write over it or
delete the old version automatically. I do not want both
because they take a lot of hard drive space, unless you
tell me I need both. If I am a simple dvd person do I
even need movie maker 2? Thanks in advance for all of
