Movie Maker just crashes

I've just tried using Movie Maker2 for the first time,
making a slide show of pictures. When I click on a
transition to add or view, or video effect to add or view,
Movie Maker just closes down...period!

I do have an NVIDIA

itt's not you it has to be in the program-had same
problem my computer would freeze up,had to restore
computer to remove it. I use movie maker the original one
that came with the computer,witch workes fine(with out
all the goodies)
