For a year Remote Assistance worked fine. Then it suddenly stopped finding
the program needed to run when I received a request for assistance. The request comes with an icon for RCBuddy.MsRcIncident plus a number. When it asks for a program to run this, the list I get lacks Help and Support, which seems to be what it's looking for. Using Folder Options I make sure that Help and Support is associated with MsRcIncident files but to no avail. The request for help won't run and the programs I am offered lack the one I need (Help and Support) and have made arrangements for in Folder Options. What next? Harold Fromm |

Some old threads suggest this could be an issue with some email clients (not Outlook or Outlook
Express) renaming the file by appending a version number to the end. http://groups-beta.google.com/group...y=2005&safe=off Try removing the number extension. -- Al Jarvi (MS-MVP Windows Networking) Please post *ALL* questions and replies to the news group for the mutual benefit of all of us...
