Default odd behavior from RD: local RD window returns to full screen state after user minimizes it from the full screen state

Hi....searched many of the current messages but did not see anything
similar to my problem, nor did I see any information pointing to an
FAQ to look at. If FAQ exists please point me in that direction, if
not maybe you have seen this problem before:

Remote is desktop computer running WinXp Pro Sp1(currently behind
firewall but problem existed prior to firewall installation)
Local clients (laptop and desktop) running WinXp Pro Sp1

Behavior: When using remote desktop in full screen mode on local
laptop, approx 2 sec after minimizing RD window, it maximizes
automatically. If I first take it out of full screen and place into
window then minimize then all is good. I have also seen this behavior
from other computers both laptop and desktop. Happens under a variety
of situations ranging from nothing running on local with nothing
running on remote, to several windows on both machines.

Desired solution: If this is a known issue then please provide
information on keywords to search for that will generate results when
searching the WWW. Otherwise, direction on how to trouble shoot the
issue. I have considered tracking open programs when the problem
appears but have not started that yet as it seems to be fairly common
regardless of what software I have open, and mostly due to this being
a nuisance more than a real problem so other issues have taken
precedence.

Thanks for your time and efforts!
