Hey, this just started happening yesterday.
First, I could sign on, but couldn't check my e-mail. After I signed off, I couldn't sign back on and got this error... "We could not sign you in to MSN Messenger because there is a problem with your .NET Passport. Click OK to learn more at the .NET Passport Web site. 81000303" When I click on "Ok" it brings me to the .NET site that gives me THIS error message "Microsoft® .NET PAssport was temporarily unable to complete your request. Please try again later." It's been that way for about 20 hours now. I'm growing pretty impatient, because I have e-mails on there that I need to read. I've tried logging in through login.passport.net and it reverts me back to the front site. I've tried logging in through www.hotmail.com and it reverts back to the login screen. It's like it's hitting the refresh button instead of going through the numbers. I've tried this on 5 different computers and get the same error. I've gone from 6.2 to the 7 beta to see if that would work. and I tried just windows messenger, which also didn't work. Can anyone help? |

I heard about this from someone on another BB. I wonder if your account has
been "hijacked" She had to contact MSN directly by phone, long and frustrating process, but eventually got her password reset. I hope this isn't what has happened to you, at any rate, best of luck. Yeah, well, I don't know if they get my messages. I've
sent three total, and I got one reply back that was a form reply telling me how to reset my password. yet, I can't even get to that point. So...bleh. >-----Original Message----- >Greetings Jake, > >If this continues, you may want to contact Passport Services: >http://register.passport.net/contactus.srf >____________________________________________ >Jonathan Kay >Microsoft MVP - Windows Messenger/MSN Messenger >Associate Expert >http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/expertzone/ >Messenger Resources - http://messenger.jonathankay.com >All posts unless otherwise specified are (c) 2005 Jonathan Kay. >You *must* contact me for redistribution rights. > >"Jake" <ak_boost@hotmail.com> wrote in message news:195f01c51bff$8850e320$a401280a@phx.gbl... >Hey, this just started happening yesterday. > >First, I could sign on, but couldn't check my e-mail. >After I signed off, I couldn't sign back on and got this >error... > >"We could not sign you in to MSN Messenger because there is >a problem with your .NET Passport. > >Click OK to learn more at the .NET Passport Web site. 81000303" > >When I click on "Ok" it brings me to the .NET site that >gives me THIS error message > >"Microsoft® .NET PAssport was temporarily unable to >complete your request.
