MSN Games don't work

I cannot get all of the games to work in MSN Messenger
6.2. For example Tic Tac Toe Classic works, but Tic Tac
Toe doesn't. The error comes up saying "Tic Tac Toe is
unavailable at this time. Please try again later".

I think it is an installable component that is missing
and not the network, as other PCs that I have work.
I have Windows XP SP2 and all optional components
downloaded from the Windows Upgrade site. I also have the
latest Windows Messenger and MSN Messenger client. I have
installed Macromedia Shockwave Player & Flash Player too.

Has anyone any ideas as to what my machine might be
missing?

6.2 was patched recently when a worm hit msn messanger. Did you get the patch
from windows update? Can you go to msn games from windows explorer or msn
explorer? They have the games link too. Contact msn perhaps they shut down
some links to safe guard against the worm.

Hi,

The worm had nothing to do with it, it was patched for a PNG issue (which the worm didn't
exploit).
