Default default browser in messenger

is there any way to change the browser used by MSN
messenger to check emails and open links sent in IM's?

I don't use Internet Explorer (use Mozilla instead) and I
would like messenger to use Mozilla when I click on the
Hotmail link at the top of the list of messenger contacts.

Any help would be appreciated.

**PS I use Messenger 6.2**

Colin

Greetings Colin,

Unfortnately no, all current versions of MSN Messenger (this does *not* include Windows
Messenger) use Internet Explorer exclusively.

thanks for the reply

In reply to your answer, is it possible that in future MSN Messenger builds a 'browser preference' option could be included?

Hi Colin,

This behavior actually changed in MSN Messenger 5.x, and I don't know of any plans in the
near future that will change this behavior.
