Default Net Send

When trying to send a message to anyone on my network, I
get the following error.

The message alias could not be found on the network.
More help is available by typing NET HELPMSG 2273.

My computer as well as the one I'm trying to communicate
with are both running XP Pro SP 1. Both computers have
messaging running.

I've tried using the username, computer name & messaging
name. I can ping the other computer and communicate with
it in other way, but not with NET SEND.
