Default Retrieving an important unsaved conversation

I had a very important conversation on MSN Messenger,
version 6.1 , but it was exited before it was saved and
although I dont think it is possible, I would like to know
if there is any file that it might be temporarily stored
in. And if so, do I need to retrieve it on the date in
which the conversation was held?
I read on other posts that version 4.7 does not
automaticall save them, but since mine is an updated
version, I thought that it might be possible.
thank you
Racheal

Greetings Racheal,

If you have the Message History feature engaged (login to Messenger, click the Tools menu,
then Options, then Message tab and look under the Message History section), then you can
simply right-click the contact on the contact list and choose Open Message History. If this
option isn't on, then the conversation was not saved and there is no way to retrieve it.
