I'm new at this
I have echo problems with microsoft messenger,when having a audio conference Microsoft says service pack 1a should fix problem i already have service pack 1.(which doesn't fix the problem) They recommend not to install service pack 1a,if i already have service pack 1...Any Idea's ? |

Hi Gary,
Echoes are the result of far end feedback. The distant users are probably using loudspeakers and the sound from the speakers is re-transmitted back to you via their microphones. Solution is to reduce speaker volume levels and increase the distance between speakers and mics at far end or use headsets at the far end. It is possible that you are causing echoes to the distant end if you are using speakers and a mic.
