AOL IM changed Messenger in outlook express

Default AOL IM changed Messenger in outlook express


I recently installed the AOL IM on my Win XP machine
afterwhich I noticed that that the Windows Messenger was
not starting up with Outlook Express. It was replaced with
the AOL IM. How can I change it back? I want the Windows
messenger to start with Outlook Express.

Go into the AIM preferences and under Sign On/Off, uncheck Make AIM my
default instant messaging program, That should change it back to windows
messenger.

Read SpaceWalker's reply as it's entirely correct, however, to get Windows Messenger back
into Outlook Express, you'll need to reinstall Windows Messenger from here:
