Default XP Home Connect to XP Pro w/o Pwd

How do I get my XP Home PC to connect to my XP pro machine wihtout prompting
for a password

It happens whenever I try to access files or even access \\computername\c$
or any shares it prompts me for a password. It wouldnt be half bad if I
could save hte password but havent figuered that out either.

Here is what I have tried
Both machiens are a member of the same workgroup

I have tried creating accounts on both PC's with the same username and
password hoping the info would pass through.

Thanks
Norman

Norman,

it is not enough to create the accounts, you also have to use
them. If you log on to one computer as X with password Y, you
can access another computer if it also has an account with
username X and password Y.

Please have a look at http://www.michna.com/kb/WxNetwork.htm for
some further details.

Hans-Georg
