Video Conference problems. my solution

My dad and I have been trying to video conferencing working with messenger 6
for a week now. He finally came up with his machine today and after a bit of
fiddling I worked out that Messenger 6 does not start the camera or audio
properly. This causes it to crash sometimes with a bsod. However if we run
amcap on his machine first then close amcap the video conferencing works
from then on. (Until the machine has been rebooted)

SO try running amcap before attempting a VC if you are having problems.
