Hello,
I'm using MSN Messenger 6.0 on XP. I'm trying to use the Application Sharing / Whiteboard feature with my co-worker. When I launch the feature it says "connecting" and just hangs there for a while. After about 2 minutes or so it give me an error message to the effect, the remote computer is having problems to connect with you (not exact verbiage). I'm running the ICF firewall on XP and my router is UNP enabled. The other person is behind a router. Please help. Thanks in advance. -Sid |

Greetings Sid,
Have you tried turning off the ICF? Click Start, then click the Control Panel. If you're in category view click Network and Internet connections then click Network Connections. Right click your network/internet connection, then click Properties. Click the Advanced Tab, and verify that the Internet Connection Firewall is unchecked. ____________________________________________ Jonathan Kay Windows MVP, Messenger Associate Expert http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/expertzone/ Messenger Resources - http://messenger.jonathankay.com "Sid Meka" <sidhartha@hotmail.com> wrote in message news:03c001c36464$16a07eb0$a301280a@phx.gbl... > Hello, > I'm using MSN Messenger 6.0 on XP. > I'm trying to use the Application Sharing / Whiteboard > feature with my co-worker.
