pop-ups in messenger service

I keep getting these pop-ups in messenger service(blue
and grey box).I just got one right now!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
They are especially annoying when I'm trying to play an
online game.Help me stop these at once!!!!!!!!!

I am having the same problem. It just started today. The
only way I can get rid of one is to re and then I
immediately get another one. I cannot get rid of them.
There is one on my screen right now as I type. Can
sosmeone help with this?

Don't be so demanding nobody in this newsgroup is paid to respond to any
requests. The group is fully run by volunters. If you want to stop Messenger
Service popups go to services and disable Messenger Service, which by the
way has nothing to do with Windows Messenger. If you don't know how to get
to services use Help.

This should stop them,

CANCEL WINDOWS MESSENGER POPUPS:
(Windows XP)

Click Start > Control Panel >
Click Administrative Tools >
Click Component Services >
Double click Services Local >
Scroll to and Double click Messenger to bring up the
Messenger Properties >
Under the General Tab find Startup type and in the drop
down menu
Click on Disabled > click ok
