I visited the Messenger website by going to http://messenger.msn.co.uk/ but now that've released MSN
Messenger 6 they've removed the Windows Messenger references. I'm all for that because I don't want this to have anything to do with MSN... but where are we supposed to go now to download WM updates? IIRC it never appeared on Windows Update... Andrew |

Greetings Andrew,
You can find the latest Windows Messenger here: http://g.msn.com/5meen_us/121?plcid=0409 ____________________________________________ Jonathan Kay Windows MVP, Messenger Associate Expert http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/expertzone/ Messenger Resources - http://messenger.jonathankay.com "Andrew McDonald" <andrew@mcdonald42.freeserve.no-spam-thanks.co.uk> wrote in message news:ecwzOejUDHA.1692@TK2MSFTNGP11.phx.gbl... > I visited the Messenger website by going to http://messenger.msn.co.uk/ but now that've released MSN > Messenger 6 they've removed the Windows Messenger references. Thanks... I doubt I'll remember that URL easily though! Or am I mis-remembering and it does in fact
appear on Windows Update? Seems the obvious place for it; after all, Movie Maker gets its updates put there. Did it come in SP1 as well? I'm just asking for the situation when you've formatted a new drive and you want to update everything.
