When I try to install Windows XP SP1 on a brand new system it always hangs up
on the banner screen. I get through the setup screen and the system restarts and I get the Windows XP banner screen with the scolling bar. The system locks up and the bar stops moving after about 15 seconds. I have tried to re-install several times: checked RAM,CPU,Fans with no success. |

Specific information about the system is needed. What motherboard? BIOS updated? What kind of hard drive(s)? IDE or SATA? RAID controllers? What display card / integrated display? Are you using a hologram Microsoft XP SP1 CD? =================================== |
