KB 884130 lists MS Virtual PC 2004 as one of the applications that may have
problems with XPSP2 virtual OS's. The article briefly mentions that the problem may be performance related when using a host OS that is XPSP1. I cannot find any additional information about this issue. I was planning on having XPSP2 tested on XPSP1 machines using virtual pc. Any update or more in depth info would be appreciated. |

There is a performance issue using XP SP2 guests with Virtual PC and it should be corrected with the release of Virtual PC 2004 Service Pack 1. -- -- Rob Moir, Microsoft MVP for servers & security Website - http://www.robertmoir.co.uk Virtual PC 2004 FAQ - http://www.robertmoir.co.uk/win/VirtualPC2004FAQ.html Kazaa - Software update services for your Viruses and Spyware. |

If you have access to Virtual Server 2005 you can use the Virtual
Server 2005 Additions in Virtual PC 2004...This will make Windows XP SP2 perform a lot better. regards Johan Arwidmark Windows User Group - Nordic http://www.wug-nordic.net On Mon, 4 Oct 2004 10:05:04 -0700, Jockel <Jockel@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote: >KB 884130 lists MS Virtual PC 2004 as one of the applications that may have >problems with XPSP2 virtual OS's.
