Icon will not go Away

How Can I remove an Icon that wants me to "safely remove
hardware" in my system tray. It wants me to remove my
printer which I do not want to do. But I can get rid of
the icon.

Sorry Rebecca but the safely remove hardware icon cannot be removed at this
time,but you can select it to never show under
start>settings>taskbar and start menu>customize.
