Default Windows XP Task Manager

When looking at the Window Task Manager "Processes", I am
wondering if the order I see the applications listed, is
the order the routine was loaded? Can I change this
order? I am specifically interested in changing the order
of a couple applications that I installed. For example, I
have three applications, App1, App2, and App3--loaded in
that order. App3 uses some of the same "hotkeys" as App1
and since it was installed after App1, App3 hotkeys are
active. I want App1 hotkeys to be active. Therefore, I
would like the order of the load App3, App2, and then
App1. How can the I change the order without uninstalling
and re-installing the applications?
Thank You,
Sam Ceccola

Considering you can sort that order on the fly - no.

You mean the order in which things are loaded. If I remember right - it can
be done - somewhat. A google search might help out. However, I also seem
to remember that there are some pretty big limitations.

Do they start via Startup? Or Registry --> RUN key? Change the names so
they are alphabetically in the order you want - I seem to remember that
working for something - strange. Anyway - your best option would be to
start these apps with a batch script or something, that way you control the
order completely.
