Default xp installation


Help

I've a problem with my notebook. All my data is on the pc
which has frozen frequently (ever since I added SP2. It
froze when I performed a system restore and now cannot
find file WINSVR. I need to reinstall XP - Question -
will all my important data files be lost if I reinstall
XP? Unfortunately it cannot perform a repair when I
choose this option.

Thankyou for anyones advice. I need my data ASAP

Consult your notebook documentation or web site. Different manufacturers
have different restore procedures. Usually you will lose everything when
you use the factory restore.
