When i booted up my computer today i got this error.
NTLDR is missing. I tried to repair windows but i dont know the administrator p/w. I never made one. is tehre a default passowrd or no? I dont want to format because most of my programs i odnt have on disk any more do to scrqtches or me loosing them. |

please clarify few things did u load any third party driver or any update on the anti virus side could u please elobrate the things which u were doing last when this happened u have also mentioned that you have lost pass word of adminsitrator account now are u not able to login also were u able to logwith account you used and does that account works while logging u have tried to repair the windows but since it is not allowing you to even have windows reapired properly I would suggest that u reinstall windows with update and try to repair it booting directly from bios making first boot as cd rom and please keep the windows xp key in cd rom and save the saetting in bios and then run the windows xp installation with repair option please update once u perform the above steps regards navendukumar >-----Original Message----- >When i booted up my computer today i got this error. >NTLDR is missing. search on google & at microsoft for a way to remove the password. I saw it
