can't get to desktop

I ran a program to get rid of adware and since then when I
start my computer my desktop will flash on for a second
and then it goes to a screen that has an icon of a kid on
a skateboard and says something about a rere bot or
something like that and if I click on it it just ends up
back on that screen. On the bottom of the screen there is
an icon that says "turn of rere bot (or whatever) when I
click on this it just goes to the shut down menu. When I
ctrl+alt+delete it goes to a user sign on window which we
never set up so I don't have a user name or password. IS
THERE ANYONE OUT THERE THAT CAN HELP????

If anyone has a fix I need it to. Exact same problem, but
after removing a program called Bear-Share.

Arleta, Ken,

first thing I'd do is clean the computer of advare and viruses.
You could use SpybotSD and AVG for that. Both programs are free.

If you cannot use your computer at all, a repair installation of
Windows XP would be one possible way out.
