Default XP and User Profiles

Is there a way of setting up your XP machines on a network
so that they DO NOT create a Profile to the local Hard
drive for every user who logs in.

THANKS

Nope, but you can configure policies so that cached copies of roaming
profiles is deleted when the user logs off.

Computer Configuration -> Administrative templates -> System -> User
Profiles -> Delete cached copies of romaing profiles

An alternative, if you're using local profiles, is to add Domain Users
to the local Guests group. This causes user profiles to be deleted
when they logout (except for people who are also in the local
Administrators group).
