embroidery software kit will not install

Hi I may not have the right group, but really need
assistance installing the following software kit, Palette
for Baby Lock embroidery program. It has a USb card
writer module plus a software CD, the instructions say
to plug in the usb card writer module and then install
the software. I have windows xp and I called the dealer
and she said it had to be done just the opposite, so I
did a complete system recovery many many times on Fri Sat
and sun and still can't get it installed. What is my
problem?

the requirements for installation is as follows:

IBM pc or compatible with usb port, I have HP 2.4 with
intel celeron processor with 256 mx ddr sdram memory.

operating system windows 98, md,xp or 2000, well I have
windows xp

memory min 32 nb

processor Pentium 133 mhz I have celeron and what mhz
i don't know.

what is the difference in a Pentium and Celeron processor?

pls advise what I need to do to get this pkg installed.

Hi,

Go into the control panel (click Start, Control Panel), open System by
double clicking on it, click on the Hardware tab then click Device Manager.

If you see an entry there with an exclamation mark next to it then click on
it once, and press Delete. if the USB device is connected then within a few
seconds you should see Windows "discover" the device and add it in
correctly.
