Can't logon at all !

Hi I have had caos since I have used the sp2, I was able
to get back to the logon screen but know it is asking me
if I want to activate imediately after I logon. When i
answer yes reboots. My question is, if there is any way
to activate with a boot disk or some other way.I a am
stomped.

Start in safe mode, go to control panel/user account/change way users
log on. Uncheck "use welcome screen". When it boots just type in
'administrator" and you should be able to get activated.
If this is wrong, please let me know.
